1 - Chinese staff is cheap, since they are already paid for in China by the Chinese
Government via social services systems;
2 - Chinese workers also accept lower living standards than African counterparts;
3 - Chinese construction sites are generally very strictly organized, with much more
direct control of the workers and therefore less theft
4 - No activity seems to be outsourced by Chinese contractors to local suppliers;
5 - Chinese contractors and project developers offer ‘mass construction projects’,
which can be easily repeated elsewhere in the world at low cost.
6 - Chinese projects do not apply western construction standards, such as
environmental standards, accepted comfort standards etc.
7 - The Chinese Government buys hard currency earned by Chinese contractors
overseas at preferential rates;
8 - The Chinese Government provides subsidies to Chinese companies when they
establish themselves overseas.

So stop whining and compete!!!!

Re: DC dismisses Metsing’s Gaddafi claims

mokose ke motseba hantle ke raleshano

Re: Chief Seeiso lays into government

this is the real king of lesotho, e! ngoan'a bo naha ena hantle!!! eseng enoa oe re reng ke morena ea amohelang tjotjo.

Re: BNP promises to review public servants salaries

But Swaziland cannot even pay her civil servants.....

Re: IEC distributes ballot papers

So i hear the ABC have a couple of boxes with votes in them allready!

Re: Rigor Mortis sets-in on DC

Lekaota
What you and I are doing is expressing opinions, including that of disagreeing with each other; what I am challenging is when the editor features peaces of writing which are no better than yours or my opinion. Really? Every dictator told the same way after they are elected. It is difficulty to believe anybody at the moment. But, one thing is sure that we, basotho are relying on peanut salaries that is not enough for our livings and we are trying to make both end meets every month. What is worse, our wages are lower than neighouring countries such as Swarziland, Namibia, Botswana. Why a small counrty like Swarziland can pay more than lesotho. That's why, we,basotho have to prostitute to other's country to brough up their childern. That's is really shame for us. How we promote our people for decent livings and how to produce professionals needed for our country and other's foreign professionals who will also leave contry after a shot time.
